Directions: Using a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil and add 1 cup of rice.
Optional: Add salt and butter to taste.
Stir, cover with a tight fitting lid and reduce heat to a simmer. Cook 40 minutes.
Remove from heat. Don’t touch for 5 minutes! Fluff with a fork and serve. Servings as prepared = 4
