OK… this mix nails it… I feel bad about admitting that this is so good. For years I have made German onion soup and thought it was perfect… but as a gift I tried this one… and it is just perfect. I couldn’t think of putting uncooked onions in it so I fried them before putting them in. But regardless… this is just the best fast imitation to something that took me 6 hours to make from scratch.

Excellent! Great flavor, not sure if it’s the wine or the cheese but it’s right on the money. Taste like soup from a fine restaurant.

I am a Louisiana Cajun accustomed to really good food. This is the best French onion soup I have ever tasted.
