You can not make a better chicken noodle soup… period!

Neither the vegetables nor the noodles were soft enough to be enjoyable after the 15-minute recommended cooking time. 10 more minutes worked for the noodles, but not the vegetables. It tasted okay, but the toughness of the vegetables ruined it for me.

This is a very good soup but I have one complaint that keeps me from rating this soup excellent. That is IT HAS CRUNCHY PEAS!! I love peas; fresh peas and freeze dried peas, but dehydrated peas – meh. This would be a much better soup if they would just spend the additional $0.10 for good peas. It is possible – other soup producers do it (example:Thunderbird Ranch Gramma’s Chicken Noodle Soup, etc.) Interesting fact: Shore Lunch Co. is owned by a holding company that also owns Better Than Bouillon Co., known for their various high quality soup bases. Shore Lunch has a lousy web page but their corporate philosophy demonstrates that they do care about the quality of their products. Would I buy this again? Maybe so, maybe not. Price is good, flavor is great but those crunchy peas are a problem.
